For Fans of Joan Jett, Lita Ford, and Hard Rock! Singer, Songwriter, and Classically Trained Multi-Instrumentalist Lisa Gee wrote her first song at the age of 4, and music has been her passion as far back as she can remember. When not prolifically writing music, over 200 songs and counting, she is taking to the road on either her 1980 Harley Davidson Low Rider or 2016 Indian Chief Vintage. ‘Shut It Down’ is her first ever EP and it is co-written and produced by legendary drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Murder, Rod Stewart, etc). The line-up is rounded out by the rich guitar rhythms and masterful leads of Don Mancuso(Lou Gramm Band, Black Sheep), and the driving bass of James Lorenzo (White Lion, David Lee Roth, Megadeth). The EP is mixed by Pat Regan (Deep Purple, Saga, Mr. Big) and starts with the very catchy and retro “Love Thing” and Lisa states, “Love Thing” is one of my faves - it's about that universal crazy-crush feeling we've all experienced when we realize we're totally infatuated with someone new.” There is an incredible version of the Montrose classic “Bad Motor Scooter” and the EP closes out with driving title track “Shut It Down”.
