Sedibus 'SETI', is a collaboration between Alex Paterson (The Orb) and original 1990 Orb member Andy Falconer who first recorded together on 'The Orb's adventures beyond the ultraworld' in 1991 and The Heavens in 2021. After an extensive and audacious journey through the boundless reaches of the musical cosmos. Sedibus has retraced its steps back toward the Institute, signifying a pivotal juncture in its ongoing ambient odyssey.

The return holds profound significance, serving as the culmination of an extended phase of exploration, data gathering, and scientific inquiry that unfolded within the vast expanse of ambient space. It's an eagerly anticipated homecoming, that heralds the initiation of a meticulous analysis and scrutiny of the mission's findings, astral revelations, and potential encounters in their relentless search for extraterrestrial intelligence.

A quest that hasn't merely led them to the outermost realms of auditory sensations, but has also delved into the uncharted depths of the acoustic space nestled within our very own planet.

-Alex is the forefather of ambient electronic music and has put out 17 albums by The Orb and multiple other releases over the band’s 30 year career.

-He’s released collaborative albums with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Lee “Scratch” Perry
