"2025 EDITION OF THE PRETTY THINGS’ ICONIC 1970 ALBUM DIGIPACK CD WITH 8-PAGE PRINTED BOOKLET & SIX BONUS B-SIDES FROM THE ‘PARACHUTE’ ERA

Following the release of their now legendary & critically acclaimed 1968 album ‘S.F. Sorrow’, The Pretty Things returned to Abbey Road Studios & started work on ‘Parachute’. Released in 1970, the album was named Rolling Stone’s album of the year ahead of ‘Let It Be’ by The Beatles, ‘Morrison Hotel’ by The Doors, ‘After The Gold Rush’ by Neil Young, ‘Moondance’ by Van Morrison, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ by Simon & Garfunkel, Pink Floyd's ‘Atom Heart Mother’ & ‘Led Zeppelin III’.

""The Pretty Things always made ‘The Stones’ look tame” - David Gilmour, Pink Floyd

A record steeped in post-psychedelic British rock, ‘Parachute’ moves fluidly between melodic invention & lyrical disquiet. Long revered by musicians & critics alike, it remains one of the era’s most compelling & underappreciated works.

This 2025 CD reissue of ‘Parachute’ includes an 8-page printed booklet & six bonus B-sides from the ‘Parachute’ era. "
