Only the strong will survive – and Stratovarius, celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, have certainly proven they are here to stay. Emerging from a vibrant ‘80s metal scene, Stratovarius swiftly made their mark with their gritty debut “Fright Night” (1989) and its more sophisticated follow-up “Twilight Time” (1992). They quickly gained international success and expanded their ever-growing fan-base with “Visions” (1997) and “Destiny” (1998) - achieving gold and platinum status - to name just a few of the band’s milestones.
