Epic soundscapes, philosophical themes, and atmospheric progressive rock define “Time to Turn” by Eloy. Originally released in 1982, the album continues the band’s signature blend of space rock influences, melodic synthesizers, powerful guitar work, and expansive storytelling. Often regarded as one of the strongest releases from Eloy’s 1980s period, “Time to Turn” combines emotional depth with richly layered arrangements and cinematic production. Tracks like “Through A Somber Galaxy,” “Behind The Walls Of Imagination,” and the title track “Time to Turn” showcase the band’s ability to create immersive progressive rock journeys filled with atmosphere and melody. A favorite among prog rock fans, the album remains a standout release in Eloy’s extensive catalog.
