"Leaving behind the British heartland rock of his self-titled debut solo effort, Tom recorded Endless Rain at Dublin’s Hellfire Studios with John ‘Spud’ Murphy (Lankum, Black Midi) on production duties. A rotating cast of well-renowned figures on the Irish traditional music scene played took part in the sessions, including Lankum’s Cormac MacDiarmada, who played assorted string instruments and also aided with arrangements across the record.

The result is an inspection of the human condition in the banal modern world: aging anxieties, suburban living, housing market horrors, but also discovering personal worth through love and solidarity. Described by Tom himself as ‘folk adjacent’, Endless Rain borrows from folk and trad stylings while remaining in the rock realm, and Tom’s distinctive voice is as powerful as ever. "
